Education and Experience
I graduated with an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics (LSE) and hold an BA (Hons) degree in Marketing with French and Spanish. I have worked as a "Big 4" consultant with EY, and also with BearingPoint, a company with origins in the consulting services operations of KPMG. I have a proven record of success working in challenging and diverse client environments, both within the UK, and internationally. In 2014 I was recognised for outstanding achievement by Cherie Blair.
Specialising in Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (PPM), I now work with clients that span a variety of different sectors, including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Utilities and more recently, Central Government. Having worked on a number of high profile IT and Business Change Transformation programmes, I deliver solutions that fit my clients' needs and drive the results they want.
I believe it's important to understand that business value cannot be achieved through technology alone. In fact, improving the performance of a business involves working with the client to get to the heart of their business objectives, developing innovative solutions that are tailored to fit their specific requirements. This human-centric approach to technology is what makes the difference for businesses. To that end, collaboration is central to my consulting philosophy.
Business and Personal Interests
I'm particularly interested in IT Transformation and People & Business Change. This interest is backed by significant experience of large, complex Business Change and IT Transformation programmes at all stages of the programme lifecycle.
I enjoy opportunities that provide value to my clients and allow me to enhance my existing suite of skills and experience. If you feel I might be able to help you or contribute to your business needs, please get in touch via the Contact Page.
During my spare time I enjoy exploring new goals. In 2015, I completed the Marathons des Sables, which is a 156 mile ultra-marathon across the Sahara Desert and is widely billed as the toughest footrace on earth. I regularly speak about the lessons learned from this race and their application to both life and the business world. My last event was at with EY in August 2016 and my next is scheduled at The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in October 2016.
